Overview

The UXM Endpoint Agent is designed to operate efficiently across Windows, Linux, macOS, and thin client environments. It delivers high performance with minimal system impact, ensuring smooth integration into your organization’s existing IT setup.


Windows (Desktop Agent)

Ideal for organizations running Windows desktops and servers.

Supported Operating Systems

  • Windows 7 SP1
  • Windows 8
  • Windows 10
  • Windows 11
  • Windows Server 2016 and later (Standard & Datacenter editions)

Performance and Resource Usage

  • Processor impact: Typically under 2% CPU usage
  • Memory: ~20–50 MB average usage; up to 100 MB in rare cases (e.g., network delays)
  • Storage: Requires approximately 50 MB of disk space
  • Network: Outbound connectivity over TCP 443 or TCP 80 (proxy connections supported)

This lightweight footprint ensures that UXM integrates seamlessly without affecting end-user productivity or device performance.


Linux (Endpoint Agent)

Optimized for enterprise Linux systems and flexible deployment.

Supported Distributions

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL): Versions 7, 8, 9 (64-bit x86_64)
  • Ubuntu (64-bit): Bionic 18.04, Focal 20.04, Jammy 22.04, Noble 24.04

Installation Options

  • Via package repository (yum) for managed environments
  • Manual installation using RPM packages
