UXM Architecture Overview

UXM follows a modular, scalable architecture that separates data collection, transport, storage, and visualization layers. This design allows it to handle high-volume telemetry from thousands of endpoints and applications efficiently. At the edge of the architecture, lightweight agents capture telemetry directly from users and systems. This data flows through a secure ingestion layer that handles buffering, queueing, and data validation before being indexed and stored for analysis. The analytics and visualization layers provide real-time dashboards, alerts, and reports that present actionable insights to IT teams and management. The architecture supports both single-server and distributed deployments, depending on the scale of data ingestion and number of monitored endpoints. A typical on-premises setup includes collectors, forwarders, and indexers for high performance and redundancy, while the SaaS version offers the same capabilities without the need for infrastructure management. The modular approach ensures fault tolerance, flexibility, and scalability.
